Your sky pole is it a stand alone model or does it mount over an existing pylon?

Thanks

I have a 1983 A/SKIER with a 351 ford Winsor motor 18 footer,,, this is my first inboard boat so i am learning.... the prop i have has 3 blades and it pushes around 35-40 mph. rpms around 38... the boat cavatates about 3/4 throtle and around the 3800 rpm....Question what prop should i get to go a little faster with out hurting the trans.... and will one of your props work... I have some $$$$ thanks Mike Ross and a ski pole.

Mike,
You had better check to see if your A/S is a RH engine/prop. I've got a feeling it's a LH so the RH's above won't work.

Speed won't hurt the trans.

Mike,
First you should answer this question then tell us what prop is on it now.

Also, it looks like you are asking for the best of all performance possibilities. That may not be reality but the new CNC props do come close.

What is the condition of your current prop? Any dings, even things that may seem small, can play a big part in how well a prop is balanced and the grip it gets in the water. You will likely notice a drop in speed or increase in vibrations from bent or chipped blades on your prop.

You should be able to find the size of the current prop if you take off the prop nut.....the size is usually stamped into the hub of the prop and will look something like 13X13.
