I know Marc. He is the guy people take their wooden boats to for restoration around these parts. He is, knowledgable, picky, and does nice work. Like Pete I believe he prefers "stock".

As for the engine.... Distributor is in front, that should narrow it down.

I'll guarantee it is not rolled on Rustoleum. Awlgrip or gel coat I'd guess.

Careful - I have a Ford V8 with the distributor on the aft end and it's not a FWF!! Kevin, any guess?

I know you didn't say Ford but now lets make it more difficult. What other engines have the distributor forward? BTW, your guess is correct.
