Early 90's PerfectPass Linkage

Is anyone willing to take a pic of their early 90's perfect pass linkage where it conencts to the carb linkage?  

I want to make sure I have the correct 'L' and that it's setup right.

I'm asking because I picked up a used system off a centurion mercruiser for $300 and PP confirmed that it will work from a software persepctive.  I have it all connected and it works smoothly from a mechanical standpoint, but I have not fired it up fo rthe initial test yet.

	man I hope this helps but the pics turn out to b pretty crappy. there is a L bracket that bolts to the block that holds down the long bracket shown

	It does help a bit. Thanks for helping!! I really appreciate it! I'll shoot a pic of my setup tonight and post to get feedback. Here's what I did on the setup. I first removed the existing ball linkage from the end of the turnbuckle on the throttle cable and the assocaited post on the throttle arm that attaches to the carb. I then mounted the 'L' bracket to the throttle arm, passes the cable through and attached the brass hex nut on the end of the PP cable to the throttle cable turnbuckle. The last step I did was to remove the play in the throttle linkage and then manually test the throttle action/servo movement. It all seems to work smoothly, but I'd hate to have a problem due to being a dumbass when I take it out for the first run this season... Cheers! Brett

	that looks alot like mine but I have a lot more cable showing coming out. I did not want it to bind so I took strands of ridged metal wire and wraped tape round it to hold it in place ...

	I wonder if it has something to do with how the different throttle cables were installed. I'll get a good shot of mine tonight and post tomorrow. Thanks again!!

	did you check with PP? They have incredible customer service. They will email you the installation/user guide with photos, if they aren't on the website. The L bracket has to swivel easily, and the there shouldnt be any gaps in the cable when adjusted. The whole thing will make better sense once you see it work. Make sure you have a good throttle return spring, as that is the only thing that slows the PP down!
