got to the boat slapped on the carb, cranked it over and gas spewed everywhere, pulled it off in the rain, took the top off and yes, the float needle was off to the side.
i did tip the carb over a couple of times to look at the bottem, and the end result was another 2 hours messing with this thing 75 miles away. I dont know if it was from tipping it over, but chances are I'll never tip one again.
and dammit Pete, I'll never set a battery on concrete again lol

Doesn't that kind of thing just enrage you! Two weeks ago I was gel coating the bilge of the BFN and had just finsihed when I inadvertantly kicked over a bucket of ACETONE down into the bilge

Eric,
My dad is a McGyver type, He has the ability to turn chicken sh** into chicken salad. Some years ago I called him to say "Pop I justed wanted to call you with a "heads up" because, I'm going to sue you." I contiued to explain that all my life I have had to live with the family curse of having to do projects TWICE, be it a grill, a bicycle,or a swing set. Invariably I have to undo somthing and start over to get it right. There was a brief moment of silence, then he responded, "JUST TWICE?"
