Hey Guys,

Couldn't get in touch with SKIDIM today to ask so I figured i would throw it out there. I have a leaking RWP that i think is due to a missing gasket(rusted apart when i put it back together.) It's not the heavy metal gasket that gets bolted with the pump when assembled. It's the smaller, skinnier gasket that sits inside. Temp was perfect all weekend, and other than risers being too hot (which i assume is from this leak), everything ran great.

Does anyone know where i can get that basic RWP gasket? Think there would be any issue using a silicone/rubber compound spread on the face to seal it?

Thanks in advance for the information/input

Marty, I think he may be talking about this.

If, in fact, this is the gasket, I'd just order it and forgo the smearing silicon idea. It'll be worth doing the right way.

EDIT: After re-reading the post, I think Marty may have the right gasket in mind. For less than $5 though you could change both and perhaps eliminate the possibility of either one being the culprit.

Marty nailed it, when i saw that part on the site i mistakenly thought that it was the plate that bolts to the housing not the gasket. I didnt think the gasket i was looking for was bolted in also so i assumed it was the wrong one but SPoke with Skidim yesterday and it is the correct paper gasket. I have the O-ring so i should be all set. Thanks for making me double check - I appreciate it.
