AT some point if your drinking and skiing, your gonna have to drive the boat to pull the other people in the boat that want to ski.
Here in GA, Your a cooked A$$ if the game warden pulls you over. County deputy sheriffs patrol also. Theres been at least a couple of boating fatalities a year on the lake here involving alcohol. BUI's are pretty much the same as a DUI. As for dock courtesy, Bass tournament guys are hyped up BUTTS. I was putting the boat in by myself last weekend and the dock didn't have hardware to tie to so all I could do is tie the front to a bumper. the rear of the boat was cocked sideways but I had already parked the truck and was 5ft from the dock when a bass team flew down the ramp while the guy in the boat weaved in behind my boat. Couldn't wait 20 seconds for me to reach the end of the dock to pull my boat out of the way. Are they in a race to see how fast they can get the boat out of the water to ? WTF..... The guy driving the boat looked up at me as I stepped on the dock and cracked a grin, I looked at him with a serious " i'd stab a hole in your *************** boat if you had hit my Nautique." |

I like those odds - a 2 handicap giving a 4 handicap 4 a side! I would definitely buy at the 19th...I wouuld owe you that much after taking large amounts of your cash with me to pay. |

At different times in my life, i've been the hardcore skier looking for glass, the bassmaster getting to my secret spot, the wally messing up at the ramp, and the dad pulling kids on the tube. There's enough room for everyone as long as you know the rules, have some common sense, and use a little courtesy. We still wave to passing boats. Does anyone still do that?

I agree daddyo.
There's usually more than enough room for everyone to do their own thing. We always wave at all the other boats. |

Al, I agree that vengeance isn't the way to handle it in most cases. Pulling and hiding some group of drunks safety lanyard is fine and does no harm but running down fishermen making noise just aggravates the situation. |
