So, do the harmonic prop pullers work well?
Otherwise, there is no real difference between the regular type OJ puller and the acme puller beside price, right? |

I'm sure someone has used the harmonic pullers.
I'm just wondering if the harmonic puller works every time. A harmonic puller that won't pull off stubborn props is not worth it to me. |

Tom,
I wouldn't waste my money on a harmonic! Or, you can go and buy a $2.00 3/4-10 coupling nut and pound on it! You'll have a hard time using the harmonic on a prop that's properly installed by lapping it to the taper. BTW, hammering on the end of the shaft does wonders for the trans bearings!! |

yea and a harmonic puller doesn't even have arms, guess you use screws and a makeshift plate.
Pete he's about as acurate with tool names as he is with ford engines |

Yeah Pete, I was not really sold on hitting the shaft with a hammer to pull the prop.
Chris, The makers of the harmonic pullers call them that. It's not me that named them incorrectly. |
