I'm thinking 4,000 hours is a typo .......

Interesting boats, good prices. I'm in NH, I'll try to find a New England or NY boat first before I deal with a sight-unseen purchase far away.

I'm curious how the interior room and general ride compares between the early '90's hull with the tapered stern/molded swim platform vs. the late '90's with vertical stern and bolt on swim platform.

It looks like that boat may possibly be owned by a Kids summer camp by the description/location. Im sure that Sport is well used but 4k on the boat is probably wrong..

Camp Richardson in Lake Tahoe. The boat with 4000 hours may well be a rental boat.

I saw a 93-97 Sport (can't remember which year) out of Lake Berryessa in California for $9750 last week.

You find the newer boat any roomier inside because they added a trunk in the later model boat. You do have a bit of storage back there, but inside the boat doesn't feel much different.    I don't notice much difference in ride. The 98 and newer is a bit better ski boat, the 93-97 is a bit better wake boat, IMO.

What was the change in '98? Are the '98 and above's still considered second generation?
Current: 1988 Sierra Supreme
Past: 1986 Correct Craft Martinique, 1984 Ski Supreme, 1984 Bare Foot Nautique

98 began the third generation of Sport Nautique.   Began using TSC hull in 98, added a trunk. I'm sure there were other changes. Check out the 98 brochure in the reference section. 99 went back to a true walk through in the bow. BKH
