Well, since I cant seem to get my boat motor figured out, I might as well thinking about whats coming in the next few months...winter

I need to replace the floor on the sled trailer. I think most guys have used treated plywood, but I wonder about chemical reaction between it and the aluminum frame of the trailer. Ever hear of Marine tech ply?

What have any of you "northerners" used for decking?

Steve,
I'd just go with the regular treated. I don't feel you'll have any problems with the chemicals and the aluminum. That Marine Tech ply is just a high grade of marine plywood. You'd then have to CPES and epoxy it for protection but the carbides are going to tear it all up anyway.

I was going to do some more checking on the marine-tech stuff, didnt think it needed any treating. Looks like trailers that have that from the factory carry a lifetime warranty on the deck.

As for tearing it up, I use plastic guides for the ski carbides and an extra plywood "overlay" for the track picks.
