Steve,
Do you have the service and parts manuals for the 360? If not, here's where you can purchase them. Chrysler manuals That would be a good place to start with changing the engine back to the proper RR rotation. I'm not sure (the Mopar guys will comment soon) but there's a good chance that the pistons and connecting rods need to be turned around as well.

How are the stringers in the boat? If they haven't been replaced, they will need it.

Is it the 20' Freeport?

Welcome to CCfan. How about some pictures of the project?

I just bought my first inboard that just happens to be a 1972 20 foot CorrectCraft. The person I bought it from replaced the engine with a 360 Mopar automotive engine. He found that it turned the wrong way and needs a cam to make it go fast in forward. Just kidding and I am sure it never started. So anyway who knows where to get a good cam at the best price. I am not sure what else I need. He had used all of the marine parts as starter, water pump, alt, dist, and bronz freeze plugs. This is my first post and hope I am in the correct spot. Thanks in advance, Steve
