Rob,
I thought I'd jump in here and respond before you get "disappointed" again like you did in your other post. Since you didn't state the year, I went searching and did find a reference to a 87. Is this the boat you bought? It will influence the replies since the Martinique was made for quite a few years and many changes were done through the years.

How about some pictures? We'd love to see it.

Did you figure out the stress cracking? Stringer condition? You never came back and told us about the location of the cracking. Now I'm disappointed you never responded!

I passed up the stress cracked hull, and found another 1987 Martinique to refurbish. I'm having trouble posting photos from my andriod phone. Sorry but they should post soon.

Rob,
Get us a picture of the dash showing the switches on the 87. I feel it will help. I personally have never seen the late version of the Martinique probably due to the smaller waters I'm around. However, we do have a couple others here with the same boat.

Lake Winnebago as in Wisconsin or elsewhere? There are several around the country. If Wisconsin, you have no excuse not to make it to the Green Lake reunion next summer!! We'd love to see you and the boat there.

Lake Winnebago, Missouri about 500 acres & we travel to table rock lake mo. & Beaver lake Ar. I am a diver on a public safety dive team and sail an mc scow ( one design) racing 16 ' sailboat. I live for watersports. We would love to attend a function in Wisconsin, but we may need advanced scheduling to attend. We may have a trip planned to the Dells next summer. Plus I really want to make some strides in cosmetic repairs before then. I am still in the dark about importing photos to this forum. If you would be so kind as to help with this I would be so thankful.

Rob,
Here's a thread that's probably the most comprehensive on posting pictures by Randy in Ohio

In a simpler form, you go to "post reply" and not "quick reply". Click on the tree icon with the up arrow. A browse window will come up. Clicking on it will allow you to download picture off your computer.

The biggest problem that comes up are with pictures that exceed the size limit of the site or a size that is too large to conveniently view on screen without having to scroll from side to side.

If you don't have a resizing program in your computer, many like myself use a on line photo site like photobucket

A couple nice things about photo bucket is you can set your account to automatically resize every picture downloaded into it and also it doesn't use up your allowed picture space here on CCfan.

Do some experimenting and see what happens. It took me several tries!!!

We have a CCfan member down in your neighborhood. Chuck (the lake)
