Quick winterizing question ?
I tried the pour through method this year on both my boats. After opening all the drains, {water is out} I poured the anti freeze down one of the line up by my t-stat. I kept pouring till I heard it draining out the exhaust. Am I good now ? Every other year Ive used the bucket method and had the engine pull the anti freeze through. Pour through seems much better and for sure is faster.

If you pour enough and it comes out the pick up screen on the bottom of the boat.

Not sure if I got that much antifreeze in ? Either way draining the tranny cooler is enough to keep it safe ?

Yes, tranny cooler does not need AF. Just needs to be empty. Same for strainer & RWP - they need to be empty!
