I heard the same and I heard Reggie had a deal with Merc that he could only put merc motors in Fountain and Bajas and Merc would keep him out of bankruptcy. Then I heard that Reggie couldn't follow that deal and Merc was going to stop financially helping keep fountain boats in business.

This is all just stuff Ive heard from the Marina I was working at so take it with a grain of salt

I followed the Fountain bankruptcy for a while, but am not up to date on recent events. Reggie was trying to cut some deal to be a part of the "new" company, but not sure where that stands. While being in the performance boat business sucks right now, those 3 brands in one company could be pretty neat, Pro-line is a great name with a following, and certainly Donzi and Fountain are solid brands.

Reggie is a genius of a salesman/marketing guy. His deal that Eric describes with Mercury was amazing, every Fountain ad was also a Mercury ad, talk about being aligned with a strong brand name!
