Can anyone out there recommend a good carpet glue/adhesive? I figured the 3M spray product would be the cleanest to apply but would appreciate some advice.

I used the outdoor glue sold at Lowes and it has held up now for 2 summers.

I've done both, and see no reason not to use the spray stuff other than it is more expensive. Take your time, small sections work best, and a roller helps to stick it down good and even it out.
