On my 95 SN, the tachometer reads 800 rpm, when the engine is off! Any recommendations, and is it difficult to replace the tachometer?

I have the same "problem" but I have never done anything about it. It seems to work fine when actually running.
Stuck Tachometer anyone else have any thoughts, suggestions? |

My old 94 ski and my 97 sport do the same thing, I have no idea why but it works flawlessly while running.....I wouldn't worry about it.
