I'm a committed maybe. Busy as can be but I could use a diversion for an evening.

Unfortunately, I was out sick yesterday which means I'm all backed up at work and still feel pretty crappy. No can do this month.

I'm out. Especially since I missed the last one because I went to the wrong drinking establishment!! I need to drive my wife back up north. On her way up for the New Years week, her trans blew in the Acura!! It was towed in the final 45 miles and is getting a new trans installed up there. She had bought the extended warranty which is covering the trans but, there's aways a "catch"!! Acura will not warranty the new trans unless the ECM and one other part are replaced ($1800) and of course the extended warrenty doesn't cover that!! I get the feeling Acura doesn't know why the trans went out and want to make sure it wasn't the ECM that told it to blow!!!

BTW, She did check on rent a cars but the one way extra cost was wa close to $200. She forgets that now I get to pay close to that in fuel costs!!

Guys...I sure would like to get out for a beer, but the outings always seem to fall on nights I am out of town.

By the way, when is the next one? Feb 13th? That is a Sunday by the way.

I've just taken up Crickett. I hope I don't have practice that night

whole week is no good for me, displaying at a local business expo.

Pete,   How'd the transmission swap go?   I am working on mine currently too (02 odyssey), the ECM swap is just a shift points change so that the shifts are crisper. It is supposed to help with the lame 3rd gear clutch packs that Honda put in.     Many of the Honda v-6 tranny's had the same issue...   I hope all is well with the new one.
