This pic was taken back before everyone in the world had cell phones. Our dock is so close to my parents place that we would take the cordless home phone out to answer calls from ski kids before practice, wondering if we were having it that day. Well, the boats in, and the water's glass! Of course we are! PS: that dog is my moms dog. Not mine or dads.

We did the same thing a few years back, though it was on the pontoon. The lake we live on is so small, be were in range most of the loop around the lake. It helped that our house is on a peninsula. My neighbor next door would also bring his house phone on the pontoon.
