I have a 75 ski nautique. At White Lake Mini, I made my gear***************e/throttle into a three piece design when I went over the side. I need to know where to get a replacement. Any Help/

You can get a brand new one here:
Nautique Parts The text says it changed style but apparently this new model applies to all the CCs before 1996. I'm sure others on this site will have advice on where to get an original one. |

Jackie,
You have a MV 1. For some reason, I don't feel the MV 2 handle that Brian above linked will fit. You would need to change out the complete assembly. (not very original) I'd say your best bet is to look here for someone parting out a boat or look on ebay. BTW, I've posted answers/questions after you posted on two threads about your problem. Are you avoiding answering me or have you just missed them!! It's regarding your alignment and the condition of your stringers. |

Do you need the entire throttle, or just the control arm? If just the control arm, this is about your only option unless you can find one used:
Morse Control arm at N3Boatworks If the entire Morse Control needs to be replaced, then I agree with Pete. The MV2 will work the same as the MV1, but you will need to drill new holes and it will look like crap (IMHO). I would look for a used one, either here or on ebay. |

Some is parting out a 78 Ski Nautique here. He doesn't mention the throttle control, but maybe he still has it. It would be the same right?
Tim, the N3Boatworks handle you mention above: The little black ring near the top that you have to pull up to shift into reverse, is the safety mechanism in the handle, or in the control body? I ask because I can sometimes shift my boat into reverse without pulling up the ring. I've been dragging my feet on fixing it because I don't want to replace the whole control. |

The mechanism is in the handle (you can see it in the N3 picture), but there is a collar with a notch on the control body side. I would take it apart (theres a set screw on the bottom of the lever) and free up the mechanism- its likely got some old grease in there. If its worn too much to work reliably once cleaned and regreased, then replacing the lever should do the trick. |
