I decided to see what I could do with the wheels on my trailer. I got the aircraft paint stripper and went to work trying to remove the cloudy clear coat. That stuff works great. It took 1-2 coats with about a 10 minute wait time to remove the clear coat. A good wipe down with solvent, polish and viola.
I think they look much better.

I'll have to bookmark this thread as I'll need to do something for the old tandem trailer some day. Same wheels, I thought I'd have to replace em! Can you post the product names you used? |

Kleen Strip was the brand name. It appears it is carried at most auto parts stores that I visited.

I'll have to pick me up a can of that stuff!
Hopefully I'll get the Skier done this summer so I'll have to clean up the trailer as well. Andy, Hows the Supra doing this year? I love the looks of that boat! |
