The decision to not release the pictures is the right one in my mind. If you don't believe he's dead, then will a picture really make you believe it? Probably not, most skeptics would then just scream "photoshop".

i dont think there would be a reason for anyone to lie about it, think about it, it will cause turmoil either way, and then have the possibility that he might be alive and surface someday. no way, this one is on the money.

I'm OK with no pictures. Pictures will just bring out more nut-jobs.
CIA, Special Forces, Navy Seals - I trust to hunt the bad guys down. When the White House brags about it, well the truth isn't so clear! |

Their story changes several times a day. I believe he is dead, that's the important thing.
I don't really care how it went down. But this is interesting to watch. |

This is just another chess move by this administration. I personally think he was killed a long time ago . I do not believe any thing that comes from the AP.

I think not showing the pics makes the "U.S." look like a bunch of P*$$1ES too scared to make the muslim man mad at us. We'll show pics of Abu and U.S. soldiers being drug through streets, but not UBL shot. I'm embarrassed of our president.

Mike, While I agree with your sentiment and am glad to see the guy turned into fish food, the whole thing was turned political as soon as it was announced. I dont believe any president has ever used the word "I" as much as our current narcisist in chief. Obama wanted us to believe that he was responsible for this happening, but if you look at his record he did nearly everything he could to prevent it. The intel that started the trail to Osama started years ago with information from interogations the CIA performed in overseas prisons. These have been shut down under Obama. Truth be told we will probably not be able to catch Osamas replacement due to the changes the Obama administration has made. The announcment could have been made by the military or the whitehouse press secretary. Obama says we "dont spike the ball" right after he did in his speech, and then he sure set up a victory parade in New York in a hurry. He must be livid that he only saw a 1 point bump in the polls. |

we know the pics will leak in a couple months, the helicopter confirmed to me what went down. i really think OBL was sane and did what he did because of religous and personal beliefs, and in turn i would hope that his replacement isnt some crazy SOB with the same power. OBL set out to cripple our economy and pretty much did a good job of it and he basically calmed. the guy waiting in the shadows might be a loose cannon and may want to have an agenda of killing Americans and only killing Americans. we'll see what happens

I agree with Ryan and Dave. this is the biggest show I've ever seen by our POTUS. I think it's funny Slick Willy and W wanted nothing to do with it.
Everyone says what a gusty call it was. He had no choice, we knew he was there, we couldn't drop bombs in the residential and military area (and have no prof he was dead), so it was either do nothing (which slick willy did years ago when OBL was offer to him) or pull the trigger. The plot thickens with the campaigner in chief. |

I was on my in to work when the radio station played the First idiot's speech and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard @ 0430 in my life. I could not believe what I heard and ws appalled by the arrogance of the First Idiot! I did how ever come up with a new drinking game to take place of the shot ski. It's called ...."Drunkbama". Anytime the First Idiot says in a speech.."I, me, or my" everyone drinks a shot. Game should be over in about 20 mins as ALL participants are passed out. Congrat's and thank you's to the U.S. military, her allies that actually helped, and the intel that was provided as they accomplished this mission. Let it be known that all the men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice to bring an end to this manhunt did not do so in vain. |

I was taken back by the number of times Obama said "I" in his speach, but you got to give him credit for letting the military do its job and as Obama is the president, he will be credited with "getting" bin Laden in history.
As far as the jihadists and their dedication to their cause, it's pretty amazing that with a $25M reward on his head, no one dropped a dime on him in 10 years. |

US Drone Strike Kills 15 Militants, Says Pakistan
Pakistani intelligence officials say a U.S. missile attack close to the Afghan border has killed at least 15 people. All while Barry is doing his endzone dance. Oh I forgot "we're not going to spike the football" |

Whatever intel came from that house is only going to be good for a short while, we need to ramp it up right now and get it done. Al Zawahiri must be next, that nutjob is bad news.

I would love to hear you guys if it was Bush who made the call, on the others side of the coin when you say Healthcare, the first words out of your mouths are "obama". lol, give him some credit.
I would bet because of his close ties with the Saudi's, Bush had a no kill order for OBL. What happened here is a good reminder of the intelligence available, it was in place back then as it is now, and we knew every move that guy made, and thats why im convinced Bush knew where he was |

Eric, I quess I need resume making more political posts, you are sliding back left big time. When you site healthcare, that was a total Obama thing, Other than the prescription drug bennifit bush pushed through healtcare was not on the table during his presidency and I assure you he does not want any credit for it. Obama continually reminds us that the current economy is Bush's fault ignoring the fact that dems were on a two year spending spree and have suggested new taxes on everything plus carbon regulation. Obama has had a strong influence on the economy, and after two years it is his. THe war on terror has been significantly weakend by Obamas positions, he has closed our foriegn prisions, stopped water boarding, and if he had his way we would be issueing maranda rights on the battlefield. Tracking down Osama began with information from interogations in foriegn prisons, but Obama (I-Me-MY) went and on national TV and told us how he ordered that this capture should take place. The guy is a hypocrite looking for political gain. Notice that Bush turned down the invite to NY because he felt there is only one president at a time ad this was Baracks moment. That is class. |

It's obvious O is only a puppet, but trying to find out who is pulling on his strings is the problem. This is an interesting take on what happened.

at the end of the day, one to the head and one to the chest, on his order.
im not hopping back on the bandwagon, its just funny to watch the finger pointing and when something good arises everyone balks. 20 years from now we all will be saying Obama got Bin Laden, plain and simple. at the time when Obama was elected one of the biggest factors that he is in there is because the economy tanked under a republican president, AKA Bush. it was a milestone 2 bucks from hitting a depression. 20 years from now thats what he will be remembered for. |

..and we are so much better now? C'mon Eric, we know you're smarter than that. I don't recall paying $4 a gallon when oil was @ $100 a barrel when W was in office. I don't ever recall Laura going out on Lavish spending trips on my tax dollars and every time I turned around W was vacationing. I don't recall after 2 years in office W sat around and complained about how the problems we were in was Slick Willy's fault and he was trying to clean up the mess. If the First Idiot is going to use a childrens cartoon slogan... "Yes, we Can!" in his campaign BS on us then get off the freakin toy chest and do your freaking Job! He is milking this Bin Laden thing as hard as he can cause he KNOWS he is doing a S#$%%Y job as Prez and the American People know it. |

really my thoughts are, gas is cheap, very cheap, and el presidente does not have much control of crude prices prices, nor does he have control of any commodity prices, if he could he would slap a 2.00 or 3.00 dollar a gallon tax on it....then we would really bitch. we all want the best of both worlds but dont want to sacrifice.
why dont we research housing prices or our 401's where it really hits you in the pocket book, nobody seems to mind. but gas shoots up a nickle and the 12 mpg crowd starts to bitch, once again economy cars are shooting up in sales, but you know the cycle will happen again, gas will hit a low spot and Cadillac Escalade sales will sore again. viscious cycle, and investors, anyone that has mutuals , IRA's or even 401"s expect to see a return on investments. Obama had alot of negatives going into office and you know i probably wont vote for him again, give him this one |

Here is a quote from an AP article about Obamas 60 minute Interview (PR piece). Sheds some light on Obamas real motivations.
Obama: 'Getting our man' outweighed risks of raid Public opinion polls have shown a boost in Obama's support in the days since the raid, and his re-election campaign was eager to draw attention to the interview Jim Messina, the president's campaign manager, emailed supporters encouraging them to watch the program. The note included a link to a listing of all of the network's local affiliates around the country - and another one requesting donations to Obama's re-election effort. Has anyone else ever heard of anyone associated with a sitting president stooping to this? Translation "Hey I finally did something worthwhile, everybody look!" What an amature. |
