Anyone have a clue as to how many boats were produced in various years? Reason I ask is that I have seen very few '78 Nautiques for sale or on the water. None shown in the diaries section here. No big need to know, just curious.

Okay, I know responding to your own post is sort of like laughing at your own jokes.
That said, got the following from Correct Craft (these are Ski Nautiques ONLY): 1975 - 651 boats 1976 - 234 1977 - 489 1978 - 628 1979 - 956 1980 - 851 Doesn't look like any pattern, nor any tie to economic issues other than the drop from '79 to '80 when fuel took a big jump and interest was in the high teens/low 20's. Still does not explain why we do not have more '78's on the discussion board??? |
