We've been trying to resurrect our original white steering cable in our southwind 20. Been squirting pb blaster down the cable for a few days now. Any suggestions?

Scott,
It sounds like you have fallen for the advertising BS and bought the "cr*p in a can"
Squirtng just the end won't do it. Some have used a lenght of rubber hose clamped off to the other jacket, filled it with a decent penetrating oil and them hooked up the compresed air to force the lube all the way through to the other end. It is successful at times. If not, a new cable is in order. |
