Realy, if I could find the owner I'm sure I could get the boat for next to nothing. When I tracked down the owner of my M17, they were happy to have someone who would take care of the boat and eliminate their debt. Nobody abandons a boat like that without there being some sort of tragedy involved - divorce, bankruptcy, etc.

Baja is a pretty good guess. Here are a couple pictures of a Baja I found. Identical windshield, slightly different dash and different seat, but may be just be a different model year....or maybe not.

Keep after it Dave, you saved one and we all sure enjoyed the story as it went along.
Dan: Don't know that the interior would fit without alot of work. BTW, Patti don't want NO project boats laying around. No place to put it anyhow. Would like to see some pics of it tho, hate to think of the boat goin' to the junk yard. I do like PLBC's solution! john |

If you somehow find a Century tournament skier (CTS) similarly abandoned , that would be a cool find for someone.

Well, if anyone wants to use PLBC's solution, the marina is on Hague Road in Noblesville, IN. I'm a little too squeamish for it myself.

Gotta Ski - Every marina has a couple of abandoned boats. Both my brother and I have acquired boats at a fraction of their value by scouting out marina yards. Look for boats that are being ignored by the marina and then ask about them. Most marinas will tell you a little bit about the boat, and unless they're pig-headed like mine they will be happy to help you get in touch with the owner if you are interested in buying it.
