When I go to drain the tranny. The bolt on the lower rear cooler line is the one to pull. But I was wondering if there are any spring loaded parts or screens that are going to come shooting out.

I was under the impression that the fluid needs to be "pumped or sucked" out of the tranny.

Mike,
I suggest sucking the old out with one of the suction fluid extractors. Some have also used pump tops off cosmedic containers and even turkey basters with a short section of tubing stuck on the end. |

Okay, I have the motor out of the boat, so I was going to try and drain to get all of the old out. It is better to suck it out while in the boat.

sucking it out is still the way to go, unless you can angle the trans back, but no, nothing will go flying, take the big 1 1/16th pipe out and you will get most of it out
