Tim,
Do your guys use the Boeshield? I've never used it but understand many do like it. For me, I'd be using it to protect the unpainted machined surfaces of my woodworking equipment. Traditionally I've just paste waxed but it doesn't last as long as I feel it should. Is the Boeshield good? |

Sorry for the late response Pete I was out playing on the water yesterday.
No I have never seen the product in use here at the Big D and I haven't seen it in the hanger supply house and I recently went 'shopping' there for something I needed for a repair and didn't see that stuff in the flamables cabinet. The machine shop is right next door to mine so I'll go ask those guys if they've ever heard of the stuff and a trip to the hanger which is on the other side of the wall from my shop and talk to a few buddies out there let you know. |

We used to use it on a floatplane that went to the bahamas. Doesn't seem to gum up into a hard wax like LPS products do. CorrosionX is another one you might want to look into. |

I've used both corosion X and ACF-50, both of them weep through the rivet holes and drip out any seams when you spray them inside of an airplane wing.... I havent' used the Boeshield, but it may do the same thing? Seems like if you wipe it on accessible parts you'd be better off, but the spray method is definitly a messy way to go.
