Got to touch up some rusty spots on my 93 Ramilin trailer. Going to prep with POR 15 and mask and touch up with paint. Thought I had heard that CC/Ramlin used Rust-Oleum paint on the original trailers. Can anyone confirm. Got a black trailer.

Jim
Yes any gloss black will do fine. You'll fix those spots and then probably will want to lightly sand the whole trailer and mist it all
Let the POR15 tack off with about 75'F or more for about 2 hours then spray the black.

Thanks Marty. Not going to do the whole trailer. Mainly the areas just under and behind the wooden running boards.

I did this same thing a couple years ago, you could probably dig up the thread. Quite a project!

Yea Joel it has become more of a project, especially using the POR 15. But looking forward to getting it done. Lot of small rusty areas where the carpeted running board meets the trailer. And underneath where it attaches to the brackets. The rest of the trailer still looks pretty good.
Getting warm here in Georgia...gonna have to hurry!

If you have never used it before, just know it doesnt come off skin easily. Or come off of anything easily for that matter.
