Anyone rebuilt there own alternator? What would the part number be for the rebuild kit and who has them?

Bearings and the diodes are all that's needed. Don't go to Autozone for the diodes!
What's the matter with yours? have you checked it's output? |

"piece of mind" sometimes just add's to being a "parts changer"!!! TEST and then go from there. I have NEVER had to needed to change out an alternator or generator on any of my boats. Yes, on others but that was due to other problems and was just solved by pressing in a new full wave diode bridge. Do you know how to do it? If not, we can all help. |
