Who knew, I am short a few side markers, now I will have the feds after me.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

The yellow lights are clearance lights for on-coming traffic and the small red ones are clearance lights for approaching traffic. They are not supposed to flash indicating an upcoming turn.

However, depending on the length of trailer (which I think you would be ok) you could convert the lights on the fender into turn signals, but it would not offer a lot of warning as it really is intended to show the clearance of the trailer.

It is up to you if you want to go through the trouble to make them flash. Personally the trailer is not long enough to benefit from that. Allen

The marker lights on the side is one of the lights supposed to be a turn signal? 86 sn trailer. Has 3 lights on side, 2 yellow and 1 red.
