Could anyone tell me what belts (alternator/drive) are used on a 1980 SN with a 351. Also, What is the hole in the dash right above the horn. One last question can you drain the trasmission oil without sucking it up thru the dipstick. Thanks for everyone help with this post as well with others.

The hole should be for the cigarette lighter above the horn switch. I believe skidim lists the belts for that engine although not sure if the configuration changed for different years.
1980 SN - don't worry dear, I may have $10+K into this project boat but I can easily sell it for $5k

The trans fluid is typically sucked unless you want to pull the trans out of the boat to get to the bottom drain plug.

I know Eric has mentioned removing the supply hose off the cooler and then letting the trans pump itself while the engine is running but I don't know anyone who uses the method.
