Official start of summer is just under 2 weeks away so who's going to Callaway Gardens for Memorial day weekend and the Masters Ski Tournament or at least part of it.
Great opportunity to meet a few fellow fans, Pro athletes, Pro drivers, Bill, Art, and Mr. Ralph. I got my 3 day pavillion passes in the mail yesterday so the girls and I will be there Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure I'll be sporting the traditional UGA boat hat and a CCFan reunion shirt of some type so shouldn't be too hard to spot. Who's going and does anyone have any interest who is to all meet somewhere for dinner as a small group Sat night?
Great event to attend and if you've never seen a Pro tournament, this is the one to see. Come one, come all! See you there!

As always, the Karras Klan will be down there... 14/15th year or so (lost count).   We are still working on Saturday night plans... Need to get Val to ATL Airport Saturday night for Sunday am early flight. Are you looking at getting together down there or in Atlanta? We're up for about anything!

I'm thinking maybe somewhere Sat Night for dinner as a group after a long day on the beach catching the tournament. Steve, I'm thinking that rustic looking place where we ran into one another on Sat night.

My son and i will be staying in la grange fri and sat night. We favor the japanese restaurant across from the jamison inn, but also looking for other dinner options. I can also provide lake info for the Nashville reunion. I'll also have on my "Vols" cap if you can't find the Ginko tree. Let's get together!

I'll more than likely be on the right side of the pavilion, close to the small dock and ramp by waters edge bout even with the bouy one. That's my usual spot for the last few years. If not there then on the pavilion itself. My run in with the chainsaw last weekend is gonna keep me out of the water so close I'll get is ankle deep.

Staying at the Days Inn in LaGrange as Callaway wants $120 a night which is a little pricey for what you get. Here's my cell for you Fans that don't have it and need it 770 316 six nine six three. Looking forward to meeting some of you new faces with the screen names.

cphase: Pyne road park is not bad. New ramps put in with a super size dock. It scares me due to low water. Long Cane creek has enough water and usually not very crowded. However, I did put a blade on the bottom two fall of 2010. Thus the ejection from the Nautique at White Lake in 2011.
Maytry to slip in on Saturday but wife wants Sunday. So, Morfoot, thanks for the number for Sunday Morning. Looking forward to meeting you and reuniting with the Hunters.

Wow, Thanks for that Marty. Fortunately for all of us that guy didn't show up.

It was a great Masters as always and the girls and I had a great time even though Tamara got a little too much Sun on Sat. It was great catching up with the CCFans who go who've I've known a for few years and meeting new ones that have been going but didn't know it. I got the chance to hang out with Mr.Ralph and hear more of his stories. Kirk. I've got a glovebox lid that he signed for you! Talked with Art as he was hanging out by the 61 for a bit and also ran into Bill Yeargin a couple of times which was cool cause he introduced me to Nautique Team rider Clementine Lucine.

They had 3 of the new G23's there and man those things are HUGE! They had one on the trailer, one on the beach in the Nautique tent and of course one in the water. Mr. Ralph's granddaughter Jennifer Abel was once again in charge of the event and she did a great job.

After spending a couple of days down there, it still never ceases to amaze me that because of this site and being a Correct Craft owner I have made friendships to last a lifetime. It doesn't take long and having met georges, and jackiewdeen for the first this past weekend ,one would have thought we had been buddies for a long time. It really was a mini reunion of sorts as CCFans were hanging out all weekend and not one had their boat with them. Pretty Cool!

I didn't take too many pics as it's the same ol same ol but did snap a few to post here. If you've never been to a Masters I'd suggest you add it too your bucket list. It's really a great weekend to enjoy a sandy beach, drink a few beers, and to watch the pro's do what they do right in front of you and I can promise you that your adrelaline will get going just watching them. Thanks CCFans for a great weekend and I'll see most of you in a few weeks in Nashville.

cphase, morfoot, georges, and jackiewdeen just hanging out at Robin Lake.

Regina Jauquess showing us how to slalom the right way!

Photo Op of a lifetime after In His Wakes Ministries church service on Sunday Morning. I was talking with Bill when Mr. Ralph walked up and started talking with both of us. "Ohhh, I gotta get a picture of this!" Unfortunately the cellphone pic isn't that great but proof that it happened.

Air206 and Nautiquehunter meeting for the first time.

Uhhh Ohhh too much slack can he hang on?

Sydney and Tamara in Sunburn prevention mode after getting too much sun the day before but still catching the action.

Here comes the G23 in Masters Blue and I think you'll see why it's called that. Holy Crap that whole package is Monstrous!

Making the HARD right turn at the end of the lake. That's almost as fun watching as the tournament.

During the womans wakeboard event a boarder fell in front of us and asked for an equipment change. The judges allowed it and she swam for shore. The G23 was right in front of me waiting for her return so I got this shot

Yep, those guys are taking advantage of the huge wake this thing puts out.

See you next year!

Thanks to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom to able to attend something like this. We all know..... "Freedom isn't Free!

Thank you to those CCFan's NOW serving to keep it that way!
