I feel he's stretching the word "restored" here! The painted hull sides, non original front buckets and non original floor covering just don't do anything for me. |

I'd agree, but if you don't mind the paint, it would appear a good solid boat (pending stringer insp) to start with for the money.

For that price... looks like I have to drive out to rochester and check it out. The 2 grand price he has been at with no trailer has been a nonstarter. |

Someone has to explain this to me. Is there actually a barefoot post 1991? In the diaries there are only two, one being this boat for sale back in 2007. '94 Barefoot Nautique $20,000 |

Ultra... thanks for the offer - the guy has yet to answer my email but if he does as it is only an hour down the road I am guessing I will just go over and pick it up - I need another project boat like I need a gushing head wound - but if that engine looked serviceable it could be a temp solution for my otherwise water worthy wildcat. This one high dollar century could be a little cheaper but is a pretty cool boat for a non-correct model. |

I should have added; is the Barefoot a special edition Excel? Or is it an Excel with graphics added?

From the 94 brochure in the reference section:
"The Nautique Excel closed bow features an optional Barefoot nautique graphics package" |
