I am looking for recommendations on how to fix a cracked ski locker. The locker wall in between the stringers has cracked along the base. The crack is allowing water to enter the ski locker and has separated the floor from the hull.
It appears that the floor material is about a 1/4 thick and the air pocket is about a 18'' long with a 1-2'' gap. How should I approach this repair? |

Where are my manners? It is a 98 Super Sport. Maybe someone can provide some more information on how the ski locker is constructed. I will take some pictures next time I am near the boat.
There is a protective skin fixed to the hull that covers the floor of the ski locker. The air pocket is the void where the water settles between the floor and hull when wet. You can push the floor down until it touches the hull. |

Picture of the crack looking down from the top of the ski locker. I could not get a good picture showing the floor separation.

Is it the centre ski locker near the driver or the compartments either side of the engine?

Center ski locker near driver seat. In the picture, gas tank is on right and bow is to the left. Water can flow from gas tank compartment, under the floor, and through the crack into the ski locker.
Would epoxy or fiberglass bond to the bilge/locker surface? |
