Never been this mad, I just cannot understand how so many believe the line of BS he is dishing out, are they looking for a handout? Appearantly, first in the form of healthcare. What a joke. I had 15 employees who I provided full benefits until dip chit took office, now zero. Oh yea, he's all about small business and creating jobs, makes me want to puke. Sorry eric, you know I love ya, but the guy is a tool!! The only thing he can run is his mouth, with hollow hear me promises.

Quinner, you and I both know that the economy fell off the side of the mountain in Oct of 08, you cant keep blaming Obama.... maybe the healing process will begin? there are still people going into foreclosure and trying to recover from that catastrophy....there is no way the mess he was left with could be cleaned in that short amount of time

Eric Maybe no way for a dem, but Reagan inherited worse and had his recovery much further along at this point. You don't need to keep making excuses for him. Excuses are his strength area.

You can't keep blaming Bush for the crash in '08. The housing market collapsed (causing the crash) due to the government going back to Clinton pushing for EVERYONE to own a house, whether they could afford it or not. So, if liberal govt had not interefered with the markets, I don't think the crash would have happened. Bush just happened to be in the White House "when the chickens came home to roost". Obama has been pro at blaming Bush and getting ~50% of the people to believe it. It will be interesting to see how long he keeps blaming poor old Bushy, and even more interesting to see how long the American people buy it. |

The situation will get worse unless there are structural changes, look at the debt info I posted a few pages back, look at the 1 percenters, look at the 47 percenters. Obama will make it worse, Romney would have made it worse, look at congress, these guys don't care. They say they do, but their actions speak differently.
Obama care is a joke, it will hurt the very people it calims to help, my wife works part time at a small company (no benefits for her) They offer very nice health care coverage for thier full time employees, the employee pays very little for the premiums and the out of pocket for the coverage is very low, this costs the company 8 to 9 thousand per employee, they have been informed that their costs will rise to about 15 thousand per employee under the AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE ACT! They will no longer offer coverage. Really? Mr President, show me real growth, the bailouts bailed out Wall Street and the UAW, the stimulus money went into the same old boy network it always had, the green energy money went down a hole to feel good start ups who knew they had no viable business plan to interest real investors. Everything you have done has been sand bags on top of the failing dike. When the dike fails (it will) the flood of crushing debt will wipe out the middle class that you expected to pay for all of it. The Federal debt and unfunded future federal obligations is over 60 trillion dollars. (GAO numbers) add another 4.2 trillion in state debt, and at least 2.2 trillion in state and local unfunded pension liabilities. 70 trillion divided by 100 million taxpayers (some of those get more in benefits than they pay in taxes so the number is really smaller) is 700,000 per taxpayer, right now, today, and getting worse by the minute. Show me some leadership Mr. President. Show me some real leadership, the courage to confront these problems in a real and meaningful way |

Start by hiring thousands of Immigration employees, invite millions of educated, motivated immigrants to come take part in the american dream. That would a stimulus for real growth.
Hire thousands of energy geologists to MAXIMIZE the energy resources under our feet, on state and federal lands which belong to all of us, you can put a gas well in my back yard! That would be stimulus for real growth. Put a plan in effect to cut all spending, including entitlement spending, means test, or make cuts incrementally over time. Show the private sector that they can come do business here without worrying about being the next Greece, or future confiscatory tax rates. That would be a stimulus for growth! I have seen NO leadership, only pandering. |

The private sector has already done that. According to the US Department of Agriculture, 59% of all U.S. forestland has foreign ownership. Fourteen percent of the cropland and 27% of pasture and other agricultural land also has foreign ownership. I couldn't find stats on commercial and industrial property, but there is a good bit of foreign ownership it that as well. |

But, that type of ownership is really only the "bundle of rights". All land in the US really belongs to the government as they can confiscate any tme they want to. Let China buy Alaska for 20 trillion. They can apply our debt to the down payment. With a balanced budget amendment we'd be free of current and future debt.

I agree with you bud. Entilment president is hard to get rid off. It will be the same ol stuff. Republicans will not give Obama tax hikes he wants or raise the debit ceiling no more. Bottom line is Obama is anti-business president, and all he wants to do is spend money and raise taxes. Just a bunch of lies. I am curious they havent been real clear on the tax hikes. Is it 200 thousand or 250 thousand or a million. And Obama care has 30 hidden tax hikes in this crappy healthcare bill. |

I wonder if the foreign ag owners get a piece of this pie ? This happens to be one of the farms in our area getting a "little" subsidy. Appears they are not having problems with cash flow. |

I don't think the program differentiated between foreign and domestic ownership, but only because I can't find any information. It is a question for someone more knowledgeable. I do know that the large corporate farms take full advantage of the programs, it significantly lowers risk in their investments, something you can't take advantage of in your business. It was meant to assure our source of food, not subsidize huge corporate investors. I agree its time to visit this program again. Let me add that I know of a person who has bought two farms in the past 15 years and he told me he has paid almost nothing for them. I don't know for sure if the story is accurate, or if he is bragging. He is an antique tractor collector and was looking for a place to keep his tractors. He bought a dairy farm, gutted the huge old dairy barn and renovated it, poured a new concrete floor and it is now a beautiful old white barn that he kept his tractor collection in. He has sold most of them and collects muscle cars now. He said he rented out the farmhouse and other buildings on the property, leased out some of the farmland is is paid subsidies for not growing on the rest. He bought a second farm this way too. This guy told me that his total cost to own each farm is under $500 per month including mortgage, and most of that cost is insurance. It is a far cry from my cousin's hog farm that I got to work on in the summer when I was a kid. |

Yeah, John, a little ways from the day I used to throw hay bails around for $1.50/hour.
You notice last year this farm got almost $81,00 for NOT raising anything? I AM in the wrong "field". (pun intended) |

I am sure many are aware, but you business owners out there. There is a stiff penalty for not providing insurance to your employees. 2 grand as pop. Or just hire a bunch of part timers with no penalties. This is so unfair to our job creators out there. Un-contistitutional
