if folded up the boom also make some interesting height, but is the clamp strong enough to handle that load?

I've seen a guy do that before, but he had to keep adjusting the cables. Did not look safe.

probably won't just be able to flip the boom up and have the cable length be just right to attach snug to a bowstrap...so you'd need to custom fit a strap to the right length.

I think the double stack is easiest cheapest safest...but use what you gotta use.

That is a motivational pic! I am so ready to get my boat finished, put on that dry suit and get after it. If all goes well I will have my BFN complete in 3 - 4 weeks.
Thanks.......Tom

Here's another "Redneck SuperFlyHigh" photo from a thread on another forum a few years back(kind of long but an interesting read). They designed it with stabilizing cables going to the stern as well as the bow for more support.

Is that (shrink tape) pole being used as a tow point or maybe a flag pole??

The fact he has a triple trick release says they are probably pulling a show of some sort.

the plastic wrap is backing up a bunch of large zip ties, I think it was in China and "making do" with what they had.

I don't recommend that as an attachment method.

But they said they did some around the boats on it.
The trick release was brought from America

I don't see an issue with that Larry.

I just ordered some WBC(KSO) shoe skis from LakeElmo. My cutdown Scarpas tore and peeled apart, my BI's crack my ankles or my head, my BFC's are bent like a permanent arch in them and wearing out neoprene and stitching...saved 10%...those things are never on sale.

You're getting there, but you really need to work on that 3-point stance a little more to match Roy's.

That he did have, but the perseverance paid off. He has advanced in great strides in a short time. Of course Kapla is hot on his heals for most rapid advancement.

I can't imagine the state of his sinuses after that.

In the barefoot community, Chuck seems to be one of those guys that most 'footers love to hate. Its nothing new, and even Chuck freely admits that he "gets no respect" from most that have been around the barefoot world for a while.

I watched both WBC and BFC videos (or most of Chuck's anyway, it was a bit long). I don't deny Chuck to the opportunity to do a half hour commercial on how wonderful Andre is or the merits of freestyle, but in the context of it being an response to the WBC video, I think he overreacted. I don't think WBC was dissing Andre or freestyle, I think it they were just saying that is not the business they are in, and for them, it comes down to focusing on their business model. They might have diminished freestyle a bit by saying its just fun and games and not serious, but I don't really think they were finding fault, plus they were saying freestyle and BFC and ADV have done a lot to promote the sport and that is a good thing for everyone. I say a little overreaction on Chuck's part, but take away his reason for doing it, it was a reasonable promotional video if you take out the "well they said..." parts.

took vacation, so I´ll be boatless for a couple of weeks. Fortunately I found a footing buddy that has a boat and he is willing to take me out!
