Paint, paint and more paint. 1/4" ply floor is also interesting... wonder what the reasoning was there. Something tells me he wont be getting the $12.5k asking price. It would be a miracle (and an unsuspecting buyer) if he got half!

RE Mustang ad - I get a kick out this type of ad where the seller lists every minor repair - he must not have repacked the wheel bearings or aligned the shaft - otherwise they would be listed!

Peter,
Look up the word "restoration". I totally agree with Tim! You do NOT restore a glass hull with paint.

Did you even notice the bottom paint??

It is a pretty boat though and they did match the color to mahogany pretty well, even the faded bottom paint. It's an SS, but has the dash shifter, so I would guess it was converted to an SS?

It has a MSS serial number Bruce,174 boats before mine. It must be one of those that falls thru the cracks,it's got the small one diameter pylon not the steped one, gauges in the console make it a 68 but it does not have the turnpike wheel of a 68,it has the style of the 69's,gear shift in the dash with a foot pedal, could it have been converted like most have? Seems ashame to go thru all that work for paint and then to bottom paint it too,but since they chose to paint you can't leave it in the water so you would have to.

The picture and the trap belong to the previous owner. I bought the boat in Indiana, which I believe is known for the very large rodent, the Capybera....although I could be confusing Indiana with Brazil

Seriously, I don't know what the trap was for??

I don't think it says location anywhere in the listing, but 260 comes up as northern Indiana.

I agree, what a great buy for a college kid or someone just getting into skiing.

Better ask Roger what 260 correlates to. That's Ebay-UK...and they use a basket instead of a cart. They won't get you some wheels for Ebay-UK?!!?

In the last picture on that ebay auction for the red '89, they show the trailer with a Silver Nautique on it. Pretty neat, but they state in the auction it is on the trailer for some "body work"? Hope they're not butchering that thing with bondo and paint....

For ebay, it doesn't get too much more convenient than that, Joe. What's it going in, or is it just a spare to have around, "just in case?"

The orange screams 1972 as loudly as avocado does 1975! That looks like very nice boat. I hope someone here buys it.
