I like that, might be changing my mind about going with the darker blue.

My engine was Dark Blue and I didn't like it. My opinion. It looks a lot better with the Old Ford blue.

Just so you guy's know I understand there are 3 Ford blues. I used 1941
-48 Ford blue just because I liked the dark better.

Tranny done. Now waiting on the boat. I'm having a bunch of cosmetic gelcoat repairs done including refinishing the bildge. I found a guy here in Kansas City that is awesome on gelcoat matching if anyone has a need.

If everything goes right, I plan on bringing it to Green lake this year.

Is the silver on the motor mounts painted or bare?   I should have motor paint and fiberglass for some additions this weekend.   Hope to have the motor back together and done the next weather permitting.

Muffler options? Should I stick with the old mufflers and the 3" system, or new 3 1/2" system and new style mufflers. My dealer thinks the old style mufflers flow better then the new ones.

I had to buy a muffler for my Centurion, it was basically a tube that was half closed on top in the front and the same in the back only it was on the bottom. All it did was trap water which probably splashes around when the boat is running.   The offshore crowd has some bolt in silencers (they use that very loosely) that would work if you went with straight pipes or even a section of pipe at the transom.

Hopefully without any problems, she is going back in the boat tonight. Waiting on exhaust hose and tips to finish the exhaust. It's gonna be 75 here Friday, so the rush is one.

Check out the cleaned up tail. I took off the rope bar and the remains of the ladder. Also switched out the old gas fill for a new flush gas fill.

That's what I did. I got the SS 3 1/2 full time in line silencers. They should be half way from stock to hollow tube.

That looks great, what dis you use in the Bilge?   I just had some floor epoxy color matched to Silver Cloud, hope it turns out like that.

I'm conflicted on the exhaust and have figured out how to build a Captans Call using the Invertaflow, now I just need to win the lottery so I can afford to do it. For the time being I'm sticking to the invertaflow so I can enjoy the small fortune I've spent on the stereo.

OK that's enough, you've got me wanting to polish fittings and buy new hoses for mine now.   Looks great, I hope mine turns out looking that good. I'm getting close to finding out hopefully this weekend.

It really does set it off. I just stripped the paint from the brass fittings and polished them. It's easy and really sets it off. I did the same thing to the tranny dip stick.
