I hope someone here buys it.

Very tempting, but I'm not sure how many orange boats a guy needs. It does look pretty nice and is only a short trip away.

The thought I'm having right now is just wrong, but is anyone here familiar with the Orange Mustang here? Only 676 miles from me.

65 4Cyl Mustang

Just because something may be rare, doesn't make it valuable, to me anyway. I'm a Mustang lover myself and I think it's cool but being rare doesn't make me want to pay more.

If you could pick that Mustang up for 1k it has the potential to be a nice boat. Original trailer but with possible storage issues,it's just too far away to go look at let alone drag back. 4 bangers in Mustangs or American Skiers are fun little boats.

These Morse Controls are getting kind of rare:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160979055927?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Thinking of bidding myself, just to have it. It looks like it has a neutral safety switch as part of the control. Looks like that would unscrew though.

Then, would it be just like the one's used in our boats?

I can't agree more. My 65 mustang was a Cyl and that lasted for a year. It might have topped out at 30. Couldn't get the 302 in it fast enough. Plus mine didn't have the bear claw on the front nor a side control throttle. It had the foot peddle. Not worth $1,000.

Not sure how many parts are left but the trailer, under water gear, gauges, most of the engine and pylon are still there. Bid plus $249.
Thanks,

Control brought pretty good money.

How hard would it be to take one of those off?

I'll just go around the lake next summer and steal a bunch.

I had no idea Dean made these so affordable. Even on aluminum? Nice.

Early 70's Four Color White Faced Ariguide Replacement Faces

This is a bargain in my opinion. I even have a stack vinyl faces exactly like these.

But are they ORIGINAL Teleflex gauges? Might not matter to you but it does to most of us on this site.

REALLY rough Gen 1 Ski Nautique

Most of it is there, will need new windshield, fuel tank, spray rails and interior (as well as Stringers and Floor I am sure...). May be damage on the starboard hull below the helm, tough to tell from pics. All the chrome goodies appear to be intact. Opening bid is $20, no idea where the reserve is.

Looks like the hull has been patched up some since it was last posted for sale! If I remember correctly, the model is actually a Panther Deluxe w/ outdrive.
