In the '72 I put a second blower in the boat and wired it into the ignition switch....whenever the boat is in neutral and or while starting the blower comes on...put her in gear and it goes off. Although I did this by mistake, it kinda serves the purpose of a second blower
Good or Bad what do you guy's think? |

How did you do this? You wired through you neutral safety switch? If so, I would change it due the amperage the blower pulls and the switch may not handle it for an extended lenght of time. Also, you cannot switch off the blower if your battery is weak and you need all the available power to start the engine. I suggest you wire it in parrallel with the main blower so that both blowers come on at the same time.
