I'm trying to finish my 70 Mustang project and have a need to sell some extra parts to fund the last leg of the restoration. I have a transmission, starter plate, bell housing, fly wheel, starter, motorola alternator and a few other odds and ends. Make an offer on any or all of it! See photos. These came from a 73 Mustang that was in the middle of a being restored when the guy doing it skipped town. The former owner lost interest and sold me the engine and transmission. I had other parts from another engine that I wanted to use so these that you see here are extra and taking up space in my shop. Check out photos on photobucket:

No I've never used these parts so can't vouch for them as working. I did mount the pressure plate, bell housing, and fly wheel but decided to go with a HM setup instead. I also have a sherwood water pump (not shown) but I know it needs to be rebuilt.

Thanks!

Ronn,
For the convenience of all, here's proper links:

I believe what you referred to as a "pressure plate" is actually the dampner. New ones are always recommended so even if it fits you other project, don't be tempted to use it. A new high quality Sachs dampner is under $100.

Ronn,

The pictures are a little hard to see, but I'm interested in the manifolds, alternator, water pump, transmission, and starter. Send me a PM with better photos and a description of conditions and we should be able to work out a good deal for each of us.

Thanks, Todd

I'll take some more photos tomorrow and send your way. I'm happy to answer your questions the best i an but realize that I have not used these parts personally. i took them off another engine from a '73 CC mustang as I only needed the block. They've been stored indoors since I got them last summer but as to any ability to bolt them on and go, I can't vouch for them at all. Just trying to be fully transparent about them!

Ronn,

I've been watching these parts for a while now, and I'd like to buy the tranny, pair of manifolds and risers, alternator, starter, and pump for $350 shipped to zip 12302. I can't tell from the photos what they will fit and the condition is not known or even even mentioned, much less guaranteed.   Let me know if you are interested and we can share info.

Thanks, Todd

Yes. I still have the manifolds available. I actually had to put the transmission in action but everything else is available.

As for "abolton", please feel free to start your own thread. Hijacking mine is certainly in bad taste and against the spirit of why this forum exists.

Abe, it would behoove you to start your own for sale thread and not try to jump in and pirate someone else's. That is poor form.
