$9500 seems a little high for that year.

I've seen from 1993-1996's go for that amount if not less.

Yeah it does. It would be in my driveway if it wasn't 1500 miles away.

Are there a lot of V-drives that have their pylon where you'd normally see a direct drive's pylon? Or is this just about the only model?

The early vees did it that way, thru 97' or 98'? they eventually moved the pylon to the deck just behind the back seat in front of the motor on most vees, on some vee's any pylon was an option. The latest and greatest 200V has a removable pylon located in the same spot a DD pylon would be.

Both locations were optional through '01.

I have only seen it in the back of the Excel, I guess they weren't trying to fool anyone with that boat's slalom capabilities!

Interesting on the 200V, went to the website and read up.

Pretty cool idea, i wonder if anyone has tried doing this on an older boat?

Vents look more like 1987 but whats up with the wide stripe?
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.
