I know its a stupid question, but I have no idea how to remove the doghouse on our '92SN. I tried searching and didn't come up with anything. Didn't see anything in the owners manual either.

If your hinges are the newer style, open the dog box up all the way, inside at the back where the hinges are there should be 2 black knobs. Pull those out and then slide the dogbox and the black plastic hinges should slide out of their retainers.
