Chicago beers?

As far as our schedule goes (getting to IL), we're about as locked down as we can be at this point. Assume a (no later than) 6AM EST start from Joe's in NY, heading through Canada, Michigan and Maumee OH and our drive time is right about 12 hours. Add an hour or so of futzing on the boat we're picking up, subtract an hour for the time change, and that puts us at a 6pm arrival at Gary's. Add a little time to be conservative (nothing ever goes quite according to plan), figure we should be there no later than 630-7, assuming to major catastrophes. I'd like to do a tire change before we declare victory, but that should be the only thing standing between us and food/beer. I'll let Gary decide when/where we all meet up!

im out for a few weeks for sure. first full hip replscement was done last Tuesday.. Cant drive for awhile let alone sit upright for very long.. Hurts like a bitch...

ok, figured out where I'm staying, I know nothing about Chicago, but google maps thinks its River North? Like the north side of downtown maybe? My buddy lives on N LaSalle.
