Where should I start looking for someone who can recertify my gas tank locally?

My 68 Mustang has an aluminum 18 gallon gas tank and already has a fuel level sending unit installed.

I googled for fuel tank repair, but I am not seeing anything locally. I don't really want to ship this beast. Would really like the tank professionally cleaned and pressure tested.

Thanks for any help.

I'd be surprised if it is aluminium unless it has already been replaced, stick a magnet to it and check. A good radiator shop usually
is equiped to repair them as they have the means to clean them out.
If Johnb see's this he can chime in,he had his done here not cheap by any means but safety is important. There is one in Apopka don't know how far that is for you. A few years ago there were some that found a plastic tank to fit but there were differences and I'm not even sure you can get one of them now.

Plastic tanks will be available again very shortly... Hopefully Reid will making an announcement. No idea what year mustang is in question... Cc switched from steel to aluminum in '73 or '74, I believe.
