Tunes sounded great! Polk audio's in the front and the rear..Not too shabby for not having an amp.

James,
We wake board. However we may be working on the "Air Chair" too.
The ramp is small and busted up at the water. There is a real nice, newer public ramp close by @2 miles maybe? that many use.
You have to pay ($5/day) for covered docking. Tie ups are free.
See you there!!

River looks great went through there last night. River is very much a tidal river so it will not drop that low. It will change directions in heavy tides. We have been at normal levels of rain for the first winter in about 6 or 7 years. If your coming in late watch out for the baby deers on the side of 40. Counted about 50 from Daytona to Ocala.

Well time is running out and although the hand is getting better I still can't do any real work on the boat myself. I'm dropping it off Friday to get some new tires put on and my mechanic is going to service the wheel bearings/brakes and make sure we're good for the ride down.

Everything else that the boat needs will have to wait for better days. We'll give her a bath when we get down and make sure she's presentable. Really looking forward to getting out of town for a few days.

Probably the smart move to invest in all new bearings and tires Alan... on the off chance something were to happen, you dont want to be servicing that trailer on the roadside with a bum hand.

Be sure to keep those tires for spares though- I suspect they have a lot of life left in them. You cant get the white letter trailer tires anymore either. If you dont want/need them, I'll buy them back!

Alans got my cell # so if he has trouble in GA then all he has to do is call Foots Roadside Correct Craft Trailer Service. 5 good hands should get him back on the road.

Okay River Rats...we are about 2 weeks out from River Run 2014 and things are still happening from Ground Control. Thanks for the PM's with #'s from those whose #'s I didn't have. Looks like most everyone is gonna do the Fri Night Capt's Meet and Greet at the show which will start at 6:00pm. Terry has a meeting with the town folks and will call me later today about us leaving boats on trailers at the show on Fri Night for most of us who are returning on Sat instead of dragging them back to Astor then back to Tavares on Sat.

NOW for those of you contemplating on not returning on Saturday because it may interfere with your river time we are happy to announce that we will have FULL ACCESS to a SLALOM COURSE. Big shout out to Bruce Kester for dropping in the course on Lake Dora a bit early so that we will be able to use it at will. It will be about a mile or so from the show but for us die hard slalom skiers we'll have a course to play on for a couple days. THANK YOU BRUCE!

So all you fence riders and folks who may not come back on Sat. Now you have good reason to do so. Your SJRR Staff is also working on something else very special but the planets have not aligned yet to announce this one yet. If it happens, I'll post the news here and update the situation on leaving our boats there in a secure area Fri night.

Excite is building, the river is flowing, and CCFans are getting impatient. It's gonna be a River Run you don't wanna miss so get those taxes done, get your refund and come play on the water with most of the CCFan regular forum posters.

Better late than never - my cousin Jason and I will be headed to the SJRR Thurs - Sun. staying at Parramores. Not sure whether we're bringing his '07 236 or my '88 SN, but we'll have one of them. We decided we're tired of sitting on the sidelines each year. It's time to see what this is all about!

Hey....I got one!

Glad to hear you're off the fence Bud. 62 Aquaskier is planning on staying at my place Wednesday night so that we can get a fresh start EARLY Thursday moring if y'all can get to the Southside of town early enough. Three CC's in tow caravaning would be cool for sure plus extra hands around if somebody has trouble. I'll put you guys down for 2 wristbands and you may as well join the rest of us Fri night unless you have any objections....Did you get the last 2BR cabin at Parramores?

Tim,
Yes we grabbed Bream cabin for Fri and Sat. nights. Somebody is in there on Thursday night, so we'll have to pitch a tent on Thurs.

Jason will be coming from Gainesville on Thurs. morning, so I don't know if we'll be able to get out REALLY early, but I do want to get on the road early. I'll have a better idea as we get closer.

Yea Bud, our first SJRR too. Robin was born in Miami and has been concerned about getting in the water and becoming gator bait! She will not be skiing, but she is always up for a boat ride, warm sun and a
cold drink.

been there..done that..and have the scar on my thumb where I tried to use the fillet knife instead of a screw driver to remove the cap thingy. Around the blood called Foots Roadside Service and he had me & Patti right back on the road.

solved the problem this past summer by traveling with Eddie. He made sure all my stuff was right so there would be no delay. Well..except my slow driving.

First off let, Karen and I, thank everyone that has helped pull this years SJRR 2014 together. This event has grown each year , and this will be the largest one yet. Tim has posted info as I gain it and broadcast it to the masses, thank ya Tim.SJRR 2014 Sign up will be at both Parramores and at Tavares , find a Staff member and they will take care of you.Staffers will have their own long sleeve shirts. It appears the "owner shirts" were a big hit too, if you have not ordered yours please do..
While there is a lot going behind the scenes, it has gone very smoothly
Glad to see all the new blood sign up to come, looking forward to seeing both the returnee's and first timers.
We are on count down her in La..See all of you in............12 days

hearing all you guys that have trailer issues, I guess the amsoil grease I use works pretty good because I have never touched mine nor have I ever had an issue pulling all over FL back and forth to NC a dozen times.

Okay, so here's the latest scoop from Terry down at Sunnyland. There WILL BE a place to store our trailered boats Fri night at the show instead of dragging them back to where ever you are staying. That's a huge score for us and once again just another sign that THEY are working for/with us to make sure we have as many CC's there as possible. This indeed sets the bar so high for future "Featured MFG" at the show that I believe won't be beat. Lot's of first time River Rats from across the world will be there so this is shaping up to be the best SJRR EVER!

As far as the wrist band thingy goes. If you've registered with the show then you won't need one as you and your 1st mate will have credentials as a show boat owner. They won't be necessary for you to have one. For the rest of us, we should have them before the show Fri so when you see me I should have them. Most if not all of you have my Cell # so if you got questions about them then call me. They will also be at the Correct Craft Tent if I'm not around cause I'm out playing on the water but you WILL have access to one.

More info to come as we get it.. Get em shined up boys cause the River she's a calling and the time is almost here!

I'm a lil late on this thread but everybody is planning to run the Dora chain Saturday then Silver Glenn Sunday? I'm gonna be on Dora Saturday to check the Sunnyland show. Water is at a safe level today but use caution on the railroad bridge on the Dora Canal. There's a boulder in the canal and it's at a perfect height for my previous prop on my '76.
