By any chance does anyone have a stencil for the graphics for a 1981 Ski Nautique? I have one I am restoring that needs to be completely repainted. I saw a zip file for one in the Reference Section but I would like to find it that is already produced to scale.
Thanks!

Take the file to a vinyl sign shop. There will make you what is commonly called a Gerber (trade name) which is a stencil for painting. Do some searching as there are a couple great threads on the subject.

The type of file name escapes me at the moment, but I believe the file in the reference section is completely scalable without loss of resolution.

That said, Alan has indicated in the past that he'd recommend getting the mask made for the lettering, but the stripes are best done by hand with tape. I know thats what he did on his '81.

It looks like you have plenty of striping/lettering left to go by. I'd probably buff out the glass and smooth out the stripe, then mask and paint right over whatever is left. I cant think of a good reason to remove every last bit of original paint and start from scratch if it's still well adhered.

Tim I believe you're thinking of a vector graphic. That is correct, you can scale it without loss of resolution.
