Does anyone have a decent method for bending carb studs so they will fit a wedge? I know where the have to be bent and how much they have to be bent, but how do you bend them without bunging up the threads?

Bruce, I put several nuts up near the top and applied a plastic hammer repeatedly until it was where I wanted it.

Bruce, I also had to do this to accommodate my wedge. I dont have "official" studs any more, just some threaded rod I bought, maybe a little softer. I have both spacer and wedge. To make the bend, I put a long socket, just the diameter of the stud over the stud sticking up out of the block, put and extender on that, then gently bent to upright.
