Yuck, high back buckets in the back of a ski boat. But, cool factor with the 360 in it! |

Bottoms of those seats look about even with the sides of the boat, nah that couldn't be a safety issue at all. I know 318's were common in the 70's but a 360? I wonder if it's really a 360. |

The only 360's I've heard of making their way into cc's were a few oddball special order 2001's in the 80's. 273/318/340 were the offerings in the late 60's and early 70's, but availability varied by hull/model (larger boats got larger options). That particular boat doesn't seem to have an original part left on it, I'm sure the engine isn't either.

I think the change to 360 from 340 for marine engines was around 1973 to 1974.

Fixed Link Nice looking boat, but not a lot of details. Would also like to see a better angle on the test pilot in this pic |

I can look at this one if anybody needs a set of eyes on it though the pictures don't really seem to be hiding much. Looks like a total overhaul to me. |

Not a craigslist find but today I ran across a 75 Southwind in Hartwell, GA. Hull looks good, CC trailer, interior ok but a bit aged, Jasper 350 installed 5 years ago. Asking $4500. Owner died, family asked local used car lot to display it. If interested call Robby Johnson Star Fleet Auto 706-376-4000.

For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

"Correct Craft 19ft "Barefoot Nautique" with a Chevy 7.4 liter 454 390hp engine, I can pull 4+ tubes all day and the boat barely breaks a sweat." Wow. That's amazingly impressive. What a great application of a barefoot boat. |
