Thanks guys. My daughter can't arrive soon enough for me. I'm ready to get this adventure started.
I was kind of hoping for today, as today would have been my mother's 67th birthday (she's been gone 9 years now). Would have been kinda neat. Apparently the doctor set the target date for Thanksgiving day, so if that comes true I guess for once I won't put on 5 lbs over that Holiday. BKH |

Brian: You don't think Denese would be interested in holding out till Jan, that is when my b-day is. Oh well guess not. So have that new little girl soon as possible. We don't care when really, just praying that all will go well for her and Denese.

The UT loss didn't surprise me. That was the first game Cal had played against a really good team (other than SC) in a few years.
The AZ loss today. I'd like to say unbelievable, but when you're a Cal fan you kinda of get used to it. Every year they break your heart. If it hadn't been AZ, they probably would have lost to 0-11 Stanford. BKH |

Well 82, looks like your vols had a tough one today too. And Suckingham lost to Stanford today, so now worries about Cal giving Stanford their first loss!
Bk, I'm a notre dame guy. It's not that I hate sc, but I'm sick of them winning. I'm glad you're not a fan. That way I can keep liking you a lot. Hmmm...this sounds mushy. I'd better shutup now. |

Today's Sport Page headlines locally:
Top of the Page Cal Story "THEY LOST ?!?" Bottom of Page Stanford "THEY WON ?!?" Unbelieveable number of upsets this weekend Cal, Louisville, Texas, etc. etc. That's college football. BKH |

reid,
I've got four of our neighbors flying their college flags along with me all fall now. My neighbor two doors down is a tarheel. Last Saturday (11/4) he drives by with his car flags flying the light blue and both my 11 year olds run out (they were playing outside) and boo him. He calls me later to tell me how bad it is to have brainwashed my kids so badly that even 11 year old girls know who ND is playing and make them think they should all be booed. He said one of them yelled, "Scoreboard!" at him while he went by. They later told me that he slowed to a crawl and rolled down his window, so it sounded to me like he was asking for it. Ha! Since I moved from South Bend to western Kansas while a youngster, I'm a fan of your BB coach now.... BK: it was an amazing weekend. More to come in the next two weeks! |

Mikeski posted this on PN, sounds like all went well.
"Congratulations Brian and Denese! BKH's daughter was born this morning weighing in at 7 pounds 6 ounces and 19 inches. Mother and Daughter are doing fine and should be home over the weekend. Papa is also fine and understandably proud, albeit a bit tired." |

Thank you everyone. We're very happy.
Aspen Davidson Hall (ADH) was born just before 10am this morning. Aspen and Denese are doing well. The Maternity and Pediatric wards are entirely full (hmm, 40 weeks since Valentine's, go figure) so I was sent home. I'll post a picture when I get the girls, and the camera home from the hospital.
