My wife was going through some old photo albums that belonged to her mother and father. Found some cool old pictures from 1951. Most likely taken on Miami Bay.

That boat is gorgeous!
Wondering - is the motor box open so someone can sit there on the edge, or to keep the engine heat from cooking the cover, or another reason? |

It's funny how the detail of the boat looks so shabby in the picture but they caught the water in great detail.

David and Jeff, I don't really know the story of what was going on here.
Found the pictures, thought they were cool, posted them up. It's winter....what else we going to do? The guy sitting on the aft gunnel, looking into the motor box, is my wife's uncle. Will have to remember to ask him about this.....if he still remembers! |
