Light fixing tool

Is so amazing that I have to actually write an off-topic post about it. My neighbors let me borrow theirs after watching me swear at the gazillion tangled icicle lights in my driveway the other day. As usual, half of the strings didn't work properly. All you do is plug any socket in the unlit sections into this gun. The gun sends a pulse of electricty down the line and activates any failed shunts in the bulbs. The shunts are a fail-safe to keep the current going through the light string if the filament fails. It's very common for them to not activate properly, and this device magically fixes them. Outstanding. You pull the trigger, and the lights all work. Just amazing.

Looks pretty cool. I just threw away several strands and bought new because I'm too lazy to track down the shorted bulbs. BKH

We got our lights up this year with only two light fights. New record.

With this tool, a few pulls of the trigger fixes the whole strand. No tracking down anything. Unbelievable.

Hollywood LOL!

My wife can never understand why every year I go buy new lights. Truth be told, the lights never make it off the tree. Straight out the door, Hollywood style.

I never use the little bulbs to much work. I like the big ones anyway, I think they look better. Plus they usually already have a hook to hang them with on the light itself.

87BFN: I am a fan of big ones as well...........and those larger bulbs are easier to work with too.

Hollywood: Double LOL. That is where mine go after the holidays too. New ones are cheap.
